Help me pick setting for Far Cry 3

So I am running an Intel 3470 i5 and a XFX 7870 with 8GB RAM. This is the full build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mIAu

So my questions are what setting would you guys suggest I run to stay over 30fps, preferably closer to 40fps? Is it worth it to drop to DX9? My monitor will do 1080p, but does it make much of a difference if I were to drop the resolution a bit? What settings do you guys find make the biggest performance with minimal quality loss?

Try high settings on 1080p, dx11. If that has low fps for you then gor for a mixture between med-high while keeping everything dx11 and 1080p.
