P4P800dlx. , 2.6c P4, 4200video card, 450psu.hyperx3500 mem.
First off a thinks to Scott for help with the board.
When takin fsb up it goes into blue screen after bios, reset and every thing ok. Highest i can get is 31 something(3200) at two thirds sync. Tested memory with mem. test 86, 1 dimm freezes at 57% other at 97%, no errors just freezes on first pass. Power rails are good, cpu seams good. Locked in video so its not the problem, runnin mem. at 2337, but it does it on relaxed timings also. I should be able to get a lot more out of this cpu, i am thinkin its a memory problem as i cant get it to run in sync. after 800fsb. Am i correct in the assumption thats its a memory problem cause i can get that taken care of through Kingston. Thank you for your replys, and Scott you may be a young un but you are the man, and thanks for all your help before.

have you tryed raising the vdimm voltage? You may safly take it up to 1.8v.

pIII --yes took it up to 1.8 and didnt seem to make a difference, am i correct in suspecting the memory do you think. Thanks for the reply. ( dont seem like memory wants to run over 3200 and it should )

I have my FSB set at 250 5:4 for Ram. HyperX PC3500 2X512 2.4C OCed to 3.0.

I don't have your Mobo. I'm using IS7 from Abit. Looks like you'll have too wait for Scottchen since he has that mobo.

Well Vdimm to 2.85 if that didn't help then it could be defective. It's suppose to go to 216mhz at 2-2-2-6 at 2.6v i think. I think that's what PC3500 HyperX's rated. If your ram can't pass memtest88 then it's for sure defective. Better get it returned, or exchanged.
