how to get the most out of P4C800

i brought a system with good overclocking abilities but im not entirely sure exactly how to overclock. the p4c800 has an auto overclock but it aint to stable even at 5%. anyone know a good config for my bios (and redline for my 9600pro).

my comps specs are

2.4c
512 corsair LL 3200 (2,3,2)
asus P4C800 v2
ati 9600pro
430w psu

you may need to lower your mem timings to get a better OC Use manual for the cpu and disable spd for the memory A 400 STTING FOR THE RAM WILL GIVE YOU 1:1 RATIO I have the p4c800 dlx and 2.4c with ocz pc4000 gold ram and run at 3.2 ghz , 265 fsb 1:1 ratio and 2.5, 4,4,7 (8 burst length) timings set pat to auto, disable legacy usb as I use ocz I was also able to set vdimm to 2.85 but be careful there my vcore is set to 1.65 and actually runs at 1.6~1.64

ive looked everywhere but i cant find the place to change my ram timings. can u explain the different settings and how they change performance?

the 3rd entry down in the advanced page disable SPD for the ram there and you well then see and be able to adjust the ram timings
