i have big aspirations of becoming an overclocker so i thought here would be a good place to start.

i need to know how far a sapphire 9600pro will go without loosing stabilty.

its currently at 410 CC and 310 MC with a clock step of 6.75.

ive got a good 430 PSU and there is a 80mm fan undernieth it.

any suggestions

First get your P4 heatsink and hack it up into half the 1st half you'll use Thermal epoxy and attach it on the GPU, the other half you could hack it up into 4 pieces and using thermal epoxy glue it on the memory modules on the top(GPU side) Then buy a pack of Tweakmonster Rev4 ramsinks and epoxy those on the back of the card. If you do it properly you'll gain 10-20mhz impvoement on memory overclocking. And a decent 30-50mhz increase in GPU.

-Intel PIV 2.6C @ 3.51G -Asus P4P800 -OCZ Copper 2x256 4000EL memory @ 270mhz 2.5-4-4-8 -Geforce2 MX400(i know i know) -SB audigy -120G Maxtor Diamond Plus9 S-ATA150 hdd -450 Enermax PSU
