Need help on new card

I'm building a new system and I'm looking for advice/information. First, I would like to know what I am compromising (video editing) by purchasing an Asus V7700 Deluxe (Geforce2 GTS 32MB - S-video in/output). My computer will be mainly used for web browsing, gaming, and MS Office, but I have a one year old and a Hi8 video camera and would like to do some light video editing. I'm restricted to about $300 for graphics/video capture and I don't want to compromise too much on gaming vs. video capture. My components will be as follows:

ASUS A7V133 mobo
1.333 T-Bird
256MB Crucial RAM
ASUS V7700 Deluxe 32MB
WD 45GB HD ATA66 4500rpm
Yamaha CDRW 8824

I haven't purchased the CPU, mobo or graphics board yet. Does anyone have any recommendations that would improve the above without increasing cost?
