I have a GeForceFX 5200 128MB Card running at 250/331 (Engine/Memory)...could anyone please suggest the best/safe overcloked speeds for my card...BTW,my card has got just a heatsink on it(no fan),so is it safe to overclock my card at all ?
Right now I'm getting an avg. FPS of 25 with most of the new games(at 800x600,32,high detail)..will overclocking my card improve my framerate to atleast a min. of 30 FPS ?

My PC : P4 2.4c,256 MB DDR,GeForce FX 5200 128,80 GB HD running Win 98 and Win XP

Thanks

you probably could only get it up 10mhz which wouldnt change much.

I have my FX5200 (PCI :frown: ) running rock solid at 305/350. I've had it up to 310/360 but started to see some problem in a few games.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised by it's performance despite its PCI bus adapter. I've scored around 9700 in Aquamark, which according to their board filtered for my PIII CPU speed is the 2nd highest score overall! (7th overall for any AMD/Intel CPU in my speed range).

Got mine to 316/609. Im really let down by my non BGA 3.3ns mem, just wont go that far. If you wnt more try lapping the chip. I did that and it raised mr about 10mhz.
