Geil pc3500 Dual Channel and A7N8X-Deluxe

Ive heard that there is some compatibility issues with Geil PC3500 Dual Channel DDR and A7N8X-Deluxe mobo. Mostly that you have to set the timmings to crappy levels and mo higher than 166fsb. If this is true then this ram is useless ti me for I want the low timmings.

I did the memtest86 and it failed HORRIBLY on test 5, each failure was over 512mb. This may mean either bad channel or one of the waffers is bad. Has anyone else encountered this?

Any info on this would be great
