Im not receiving sound on my ps3 what do i do?

Hello,
I am a playstation 3 player, and i use a Trition AX720+ headset for gaming...(google it if your confused) I am not recieving sound from the speakers of my headset, but my TV plays fine. Last night my dog knocked over my mix amp to my headset and now my optical cable is a bit loose. Is that my problem? UGH HELP

The cable sounds like the culprit. Try a new one and see if it'll do the trick. Hopefully the port itself isn't loose.
