I've just got an MSI K7N2 Delta-L with a XP2500 barton processor and two 512mb sticks of DDR400 ram, I'm a newbie to overclocking and hoping you guys can tell me how to clock this little lot. Thanks.

Try clock speed at 200 and leave the multiplier at 11. Set the Ram voltage to at least 2.7 and Cpu voltage to 1.725-1.75. Set the CPU/Ram ratio to 1:1 or 100%

IF you are new to this them you may wanna do more studing on that mobo you got and really read the manual for that mobo, so you can get familiar with each of the settings in your BIOS..

Another thing is that most Barton 2500+ do not like going higher than 193 with the multiplier still at 11. You may have to drop it to either 10.5 or 10.

your barton is not MOST bartons!

You keep saying "most Barton 2500+ do not like going higher than 193 with the multiplier still at 11." This is not true...most bartons run 2200mhz just fine, some on stock voltage you just got unlucky thats all.


If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a procesor
