I finally got my new stuff, an Epox 8rda3+ and a XP 2500 Barton. When I set them up everything boots as normal. Not even OC, (FSB 166, Mem speed 200, multi 11x). After boot and just when starting Win XP, the comp reboots. What could be the problem? To weak power supply or mobo fault? Could really use some help.

Have the ram synced with the CPU is always a plus, can you up the CPU to 200? Boot the machine into safemode and find out the last thing it bootsup before restarting. Was this install of windows done with another machine?

F-DISK-Format-Reinstal DO DA!! DO DA!!

What Ram are you using?? If you ever get into the OS disable restart on error under control panel -> system -> advanced tab -> start up and recovery settings, then uncheck automatically restart. Atleast then when the computer crashes you'll get the BSOD error screen and a code to help figure out what's going on.

I have Twin1024 3200LL Corsair mems so I hope/think they're fine. I have no problem raising the FSB to 200 and running at 2200 MHz. But it doesn't matter. I tried changing every BIOS parameter there is, basically and nothing works. I tried changing to another cpu but it won't work either. Don't think it's the power supply either cus I took away everything but the necessary power consumers but no go. I'll try the thing you wrote about the automatic restart and see. Thanks.

PS.
Anyone know how to install Win on a SATA drive without another HDD? I know I read an article about it in here but I can't find it again.
DS.

First synch the mem and CPU to 166MHz (1:1) in bios, then set multi to 11, and lock all others to 66/33 (AGP/PCI)...default. Run it. If it still does it try memtest86 (google search, free Dos tool) and run it overnight if you haven't already done so. It shouldn't come up with any errors, if it does it's probably a ram problem. If it doesn't and you can get into OS use prime95's torture test (again google, free utility) for 6-24 hours and again check for errors, it also shouldn't come up with any. What HSF you have and what voltage were you using at 2.2GHz, some 2500+ won't get there on 1.65V (default). A very few won't get there at all :(.

The mems are not the problem. I can't say that they're fail safe cause I can't test them. I still can't get into XP. I did as you said and as you thought, an error page came up. But there's nothing I can do about it. The HDD was from my old comp (the one I'm using now). So it just doesn't like my new Hardware? Is there anything I can do about it? Once I get into Win I can start the testing and OCing. What I'll do now try to install XP all over on my new SATA HDD and hope that it'll work. Could there still be a hardware problem? And you think it's the mobo or mems then (anything else)?
Don't think there will be any problems att all to get to 2.2GHz. I had the vcore on 1.85. Haven't been able (as I said earlier) to run prime, Sandra or anything but the temp is around 30 C with no load.
