I installed a Radeon 7000 64mb AGP card in my Gateway to replace the Voodoo
3 3000 card that came with the system. The Radeon card works great in 16 bit
mode under win98se. But I cant get the card to run in 16bit mode in Win2k,
or WinXp. I have to use it in 32 bit mode. I'm getting screen flickers and
text is all messed up in 16 bit mode.

I have tried the latest drivers from ATI to no avail. I asked in the ATI
group as well...to no avail. I'm wondering if anybody here has any ideas?
I'd like to be able to use the card in 16 bit mode because 32 bit slows the
computer down quite a bit.

MB...WS440BX, Powerleap 1.4Ghz, 384MB ram.

Thanks,
Scott
