Consider this:

Cpu:p4 2.6
Mobo:Asus P4P800-Dx
Memory:OCZ PC4200 *PERFORMANCE* 2x512 Dual Channel 3-4-4-8
HS:Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu
PSU:Antec Truepower 480 W

1-How far can i push this setup?

2-Are there better components than theses?

3-Why is "OCZ Pc4000-EL 2x512 *COPPER* Dual Channel 3-4-4-8" more expensive that "OCZ PC4200 *PERFORMANCE* 2x512 Dual Channel 3-4-4-8" http:www.ocztechnology.com

Because PC4000 EL uses copper heatspreader and it overclocks higher than the PC4200 performance. PC4200 performance can't be overclocked by 1 mhz from its 266mhz default, while the PC4000 EL reaches 275mhz or more.

You could push your FSB probably to 266mhz, that will give you 13x266=3458mhz.

You'll definently need to push to its max speed, 3458mhz will be a stretch, SLK947U or SP94 may be required for that overclock.
