Former U.N. arms inspector David Kay, now in charge of the CIA search for unconventional weapons, started work two days ago in Baghdad. CNN spoke to him about the case over a secure teleconferencing line.
"It begins to tell us how huge our job is," Kay said. "Remember, his material was buried in a barrel behind his house in a rose garden.
"There's no way that that would have been discovered by normal international inspections. I couldn't have done it. My successors couldn't have done it."
If that where they've secreted components, then they'll never find them all. They could have buried them anywhere, and they probably have.
And I'm with you, Blix is very quiet now this has come out. No surprise though.

That was just a shot at Svol who spent months telling us all that his crack team of weapons inspectors could find anything given enough time. Hell Iraq is the size of California yet he remains convinced that Saddam could never hide anything there without it being found.
If Blix couldn't find his dick in his pants, he'd blame someone else for it. The way he spouted off a couple of weeks ago about how he'd been stitched up and smeared by the "bastards" in Washington really showed his true colours, and how negative about the whole job he'd become. What chance did we have if we had a half hearted Inspector leading the team? At least the new guy has a positive attitude.
The search will probably take years, and as long as our forces are there, the search shouldn't stop. Estimates are that we will be there for maybe 4 years, so we should be able to cover a lot of ground during that time.
