Hello,

On a board like a EPox EP-8RDA3G 2.0,
would it be safe to set the FSB to 190-200 (assuming that the multipliers are locked) on a Barton 2500 or a 2600 and use the fan and heatsink that came with it? Without it dying/puking sputtering etc etc?

Looking for stable overclocking without spending any more money for cooling...

Any suggestion please?

What is burn time?
I am assuming its the amount of time you run a prcoesser for it "set" to your system.
But how long do you let it "burn" before you overclock?

Thank you for answering all ASAP

The epox mobo is fairly nice, i think you could control the Vchipset, if you get PC3200 even with 2500+ then you definently could reach 2200mhz 11x200=3200+. 2600+ has unlocked multipliers, so if you're planning to go watercool, then don't buy 2500+. If you're not planning to spend too much money on cooling, then 2500+ is good enough.
