Safe temperatures?

I have a P4 3.06 533 with stock cooling. I am wondering what are safe temperatures to function within?

At 3.06 I think they were around 38*C.
OC'ed to 3429 they are around 48*C sitting in windows.

System still isn't stable though, I have dropped it down multiple times cause I keep getting this memory dump error...

My cpu temp is 48C house temp 80F 2.4C OCed to 3.0 running stable.

whats the full load temp?
i think you are a little hot...shoot for less than 55c full load.


If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a procesor

Full load is around 62*C.
I left it on in my room at 3404 mhz while I went to school so I could complete a download, and since I didn't know the stability turned all fans in room on and got excellent circulation and ventilation. Its running at 46*C right now and the case is 31*C.

Since its winter I can open a window and get this room freezing like it was this morning when I first turned on the computer, then it was running very cold (colder than at 3.06).
