I think I kinda ran my CPU at high frequency a little too long, when I got home today, started up computer, booted windowsXP. After about 1 hour, i was just beginning to have fun overclocking my new Vid card, my monitor turned off. I thought i killed the vid card, so i took my vid card to another comp, worked fine. Then process of elimination, found out the CPU was dead. There was no physical dammage so I requested for an RMA, just got the RMA #, gonna ship it out tomorrow. Now i'm stuck with a piece of sh*t Duron 1.0G overclocked to 1.3G. Anybody had any experience with Intel RMA before? How long does it take for them to return a processor to you?

I noticed you're using the P4P800 motherboard, have you ever monitored core voltage to find out what the true peak was?

I'm going to try to figure out what's wrong with the SLK900U first, if I can't get it to boot, then i'll look into Swiftech MCX4000+T, with 92mm Tornado.

Yeah, as long as the pins aren't bent, there's no burnt holes in your CPU, no black burned marks, then it's perfectly fine to claim warrenty.

And like selling my 9800pro for more than the price of a 9800XT, and like selling my 9800np for the price of a 9800pro 256meg.
