I recently bought a new laptop which seemed not to be working properly.
Now I can get my money back for it and now I'm looking for a new laptop which has to be either the same quality or even better.

The one I have now is the Asus a75de - a8-4500m - 4gb ram - Radeon 7540g + 7570m.
Now I came across this one: Asus ? - i5 2430m - 6gb ram - Nvidia GeForce 540m.

Now my question is, which one will be better for gaming? I know it can run everything else I want in a laptop so I would like to have the one that has best performance in gaming.

Thanks!

Hi :)

It depends on the laws of your country ?

If for example you bought that Laptop from one of my shops, in the UK , it would depend on HOW LONG you have owned it and what if anything was wrong with it...

As an example, say you had owned it for 6 months, you would NOT get your money back, although you would probably get a repair, for whatever was wrong with it...

So...a couple of questions...

WHICH country are you in ?

WHAT is wrong with it ?

HOW LONG have you owned it ?

All the best Brett :)

Hi thanks for your reply,

I would just like to know which one would be better if they both would work perfectly.

It was just a bit background info to understand why I was looking for a new laptop around that price ;)

Btw. I'm from Holland. I already contacted the store I bought this laptop from and they already said I could get my money back.

I want to the best possible for gaming, i'm only playing league of legends and I can run that on this laptop 60fps at high settings so that's more than enough.
I just want the best possible, not for playing the newest games.

Guys, he asked a simple question, here is the answer: Go with the 540m laptop. :)

Cleary shows the 540m is a bit better on battlefield 3, which is the only game that has clear benchmarks for both cards on the games listed there

I don't think you understand my circumstances. This current laptop has issues so I have to exchange it anyway because otherwise I'm stuck with a laptop that is not working properly.

So recently I spoke to a friend of mine who would like to sell his laptop.
I'm going to ask you which one would be better and how much the other one would be better and why.

Here are the 2 laptops:

ASUS N75SF Notebook / 17.3 "/ Intel Core i7 2630QM / Nvidia GeForce GT 555m/ 6GB RAM / 500GB HDD

vs.

ASUS A75DE Notebook / 17.3 "/ AMD A8-4500m / ATI Radeon 7640g+ 7670m / 4GB RAM / 500GB HDD

The first one is a bit older, but does that matter? Benchmarks show that the i7 is much better and the GPU a little bit better.

Overall, I can get the i7 for €630 and the A8 is worth €560,-

Would it be a good deal to buy the i7?
