I got a 2500+ Barton, an 8rda3+ and twin 3200 corsair mems. I'm currently running 11x210 MHz but I want to go higher. I can raise both multiplier and FSB but not getting a stable solution. Would me raising the volt be able to get it? I'm running 1.85 Vcpu, 1.6 Vcore and 2.77 Vdimm.
Thanks

Not recommended to run Barton's over the 1.8V mark on air(are you using air cooling?). It can really decrease they're life expectancy. 2.35GHz is my limit on air and 1.8V (Barton 2500+). I stay well under that @ 2.25 (if I kill this processor my replacement will be locked!!).

The heat is not really a problem. I have a water chilled system. The cpu temp with my 11x210 MHz is about 32C. So raising the volt wouldn't be a problem. The question is if it's worth it?

personally, I don't think it's worth it
I can OC my 2600+ to 2800+, or underclock it to 2000+
I don't see any difference among them unless I run benchmark
