What am I doing wrong

Hello everyone,

I've just received my BARTON 2600+ (locked) and would like to know what is the highest speed I can get with it and on wich settings.

Altough I see everyone saying that 200Mhz and higher is possible and higher FSB I can only run it stable at 173Mhz.

My current system is:
Barton 2600+ (water cooled) 11.5 X 173 @ 31ºC
Asus A7N8X deluxe (pcb 2.0 - Bios 1007)
2X kigston 256Mb PC400 (Dual channel optimized)
Asus V9560 (Fx 5600)
Audigy 2
2X IDE 80Gb
2X SATA 120Gb

Can anyone give me some ideas on where to look for the problem?

It's been a while since i've used that mobo, try this anyways, flash bios to the latest one, then try pushing the FSB more. If your N.Bridge's getting too hot, then I suggest using a Crystal orb or something instead of Asus's stock passive cooler.
