That's cool. I like how he called everyone bastards for making him provide the information for free.

I chose to get a computer instead of a nintendo back in 1984. I remember it being a hard choice. Never owned a console and probably never will since they just don't compare to a PC.

I still want to make a fish tank out of my Mac Plus.

Overclockers.com.au have lots of rigs like that...
PC's inside wierd balls, RC cars, old amplifier equipment, barfridges, suitcases... anything that can hold a PC really.
Saw one where the top 1/3 of a full tower case was converted into a tropical fishtank... the warpth from the PSU kept the fishies warm.
(though it didnt use the water as coolant LOL)

Hell, I got told I had too much time on my hands just for painting mine in an Auburn color scheme.

That's pretty cool. How do you paint a case so that it's not sticky afterwards?

Sticky? Just give it several coats and some sanding and let it dry for a while between coats. No stickiness.

Most of it is plastic though. I doubt I'd paint the lock. Maybe I'll see if I can come up with some cool colors for my case. Yours looks wicked so I think I might want to try that.

The front of mine is all plastic. No prob. U should sand it a bit, though.

Also, Krylon has a new line specifically designed for plastic.

I have roughly the same case as yours. It's plastic on the front and the rest is metal. I think my case is just a bit bigger than yours.

It'll paint fine. Just need some sandpaper, enamel spray paint, some masking tape, and newspaper. Can get fancier with the finish, with polishing stuff, if ya want.

Which is really tough. I don't have a good enough zoom with the digital unfortionately but with the San Diego Zoo the subject matter is almost unlimited. I still haven't taken the camera to the Wild Animal Park unfortionatly and I doubt I'll have time before I move.

My best picture ever is in Yosemite though. The pictures that you can get there are great if you're into depth of field and lighting.

Oddly enough one of my best pictures at the zoo is of a duck. LOL.

Yeah, using exposure compensation + or - what your meter reads, for tricky exposures.

Reply to Auburn9698

The problem was that I had to turn the flash off and I couldn't quite figure out how to change the exposure time on the digital camera. So basically my exposure was WAY too long. The bigger problem was the line and the fact that I didn't have all the time in the world to figure it out or look to see if I got any good shots.

No biggie.

Like shooting with slide film instead of print. Slide is trickier to get JUST the right exposure for, so frequently you bracket, which means taking, say, three frames in a row...one at the meter, one half-stop underexposed, and one half-stop overexposed, for example.

Tricky settings, like a black&white panda can be the same way. Or something like White Sands, New Mexico, where you frequently shoot +1 to +1.5 over what your meter says to shoot.

I just sanded the paint of my case and then spraypainted it... might not be the best way to paint it but you can do it fast and it looks quite nice if I may say so (if you have good memory you will remember it). Only negative point is that you damage the paint very easily.

My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole
