How is my config for 1080p gaming?

Depends on the game really.
One thing though, the 660 is really bad for that setup,I mean, everything else is top except for the GPU which is responsible for better FPS than the CPU and Ram.A 670 will make the system more balanced and last longer.

How much are you paying for the GS600 PSU?It is a tier 2,maybe you can get a better one for the same price. Here is the PSU tiered list :

Not entirely true IMO. I'm currently running the previous model, 560Ti and it's great. I run games like BF3, Blops2 on high/max with great frames (BF3 was played on AMD 955BE OC'd to 3.8 if it's worth a mention). I also run 2 screens (2nd is my web screen) and the card is only 1GB. 660 is a great gaming card if you're on a budget (seen them on avg. for $250 with decent discounts in Canada). 670 is awesome if you have the money to spend on it. That's about it really.

To answer OP's question: You will be able to run games on high+ with that setup with, as already mentioned, few exceptions.

Also, if you ever plan on overclocking your CPU, get the 3570K - regular 3570 is multiplier locked and can't be OC'd.
