Trying to game on a budget

Hello,
I am trying to upgrade my pc so i can play newer games as well as stream them. I currently have a Gigabyte P35-Dq6
3GBs of RAM
Intel Core2 Quad 2.4ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6570
I am on a tight budget i could only spend around $300-$400. What is the cheapest possible upgrades i can do to give my pc a kick??
