I currently have a P4 2.4c o/c to 2.8Ghz.

A while ago I replaced the stock Intel HSF with a Zalman 6500a ALCU setup. I’m quiet happy with the product although the bracket is a bit annoying to fit and takes up a lot of room.

Anyway my mate went to Hong Kong and I asked him to buy me a Zalman 400watt quiet psu. When he got back yesterday he offered to sell me a Zalman 7000a ALCU and the PSu for £72 () the which I said yes too (even if I don’t need it I can sell it on ebay and make money as there so cheap in Hong Kong and expensive in here in the UK).

Is it worth me replacing my currant 6500a Alcu with a 7000a Alcu? I think there a bit quieter but does the 7000 give better performance?

Side note: The way these Zalman 400 Watt psu were sold out here in the UK not to long ago and were retailing at £75 a time he charged me £51 for it

Personally, I also have both the same ZalmanCNPS-7000al/cu and the ""6500al/cu, I am using the 7000 on my P-4 3.0c. and 6500 is still in the package.I think that you should use the 7000,Its up to you actually, since you are using your 6500(satisfied with temps?)sell your 7000 since you'll fetch ahigher price for it unopened.Just my 2 cents worth.
