Would it run smoothly?

Would games like bf3, Gta IV, Need for speed most wanter (2012), Crysis 2 and other new games run on my specs in max settings on a resolution of 1600x900?

here are my soon to be specs
Intel Core i3 3220 3.3ghz
MSI H61M-P31 H61
RipJaws 8gb 1333
Powercolor HD 7770 1gb ddr5


and any suggestions on changing any component for better gameplay would be nice

None of those games will run on max settings even at that resolution sadly.
In my opinion, you have too much RAM for what you need. Cut that down (6Gb or even 4) and get a better CPU and GPU (if you can afford it). Do you have a budget?

6Gb RAM makes no sense (it can't be dual channel) and 8Gb is cheap so stay with it. If you went to a Radeon 7850 you may just max those games but BF3 may get a bit of a slow down on large maps and GTA IV is a bit ify whatever your hardware is.
