What do i need to do to get counter stirke source to run faster

Hello,
i have a lapttop with windows xp 1.73ghz and 504 mb ram...once i load it up i do a video stress test nd it runs fine but once i either create a server or join one it drops my fps by 13...i just need to know what kinda processor i need to put in my laptop so that css runs smooth even after the stress test nd stays like that for the time being

Multiplayer games usually lag a bit more because you are using more RAM to connect to the server.

Unfortunately, your laptop is VERY barely able to run CSS due to the very low amount of RAM, but if you set everything to LOW, and AntiAliasing OFF, change the resoultion to the lowest, try to run it again. If it doesn't lag, try changing the resolution up 1 more step higher. Repeat until it lags, and then you know your limit.
