strange overclocking error

When overclocking my Asus P4PE, 2.4B, my pc booted successfully but then got a message in dos
"Award bootblock v1.0
Bios rom checksum error"
it asks me in insert a bootable disk
Does anyone know this message appears and how i do prevent it doing so.

The Bootblock is a feature provided by ASuS on their boards when something has happened during the boot process that could possibly cause corruption in the system. It prevents damage from being done. Is this a board and processor being switched over from a previous system?
