Can't install a CS DvD, my Computer doesn't read it :P HELP PLEASE :(

i borrowed a DVD ( cs ) counter strike 1.6 +SOURCE when i tryed to install it, it wouldn't even open, the computer doesn't read it i guess, everytime i put the disk and try to install it, the computer becomes so slow![:p]( ":p")
