Hello , I installed windows 8 on ASUS K50ID and I should installed all of my drivers one by one .
But when I installed it on my friend's Dell Inspiron 5010 , the drivers worked correctly with out any drivers installation recommended , Do you know what is the problem ?
My ASUS info : Ram: 4GB - CPU: Core2Duo 2.2GHz - Graphic Card: NVidia Geforce GT320M
My friend's Laptop ( Dell Ins 5010 ) : Ram : 4GB - CPU: i5 2.66 GHz - Graphic Card: ATI
Window provides driver update. Sometimes hardware don't auto update driver. Since the 2 laptop has different hardware. I am not surprise one laptop's driver update correctly and the other doesn't. Nothing wrong with not able to auto update. Just do it manually. It is a good habit to update driver manually.

Tnx my friend, but my laptop hangs between every 1 or 2 hours . and then I must press ad hold Power button for 5 seconds , then restart it , is it for my drivers or my software ?
There is really very little you can do about because Window 8 is not supported. Apart from using the Window 7 driver and install in compatibility, there is nothing else to do.

The Windows 8 Developer Preview is a pre-beta release. It's not intended for end-users. There is no guarrantee of support to any extent. Some hardware makers have provided early driver releases to allow for testing. If you want full support, wait until Microsoft officially releases Windows8 to the public. Running a pre-beta release and expecting full support is both naive and ignorant.
