I haven't been able to find a control set that I like for this game yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they use for the keyboard? I don't have a gamepad yet, so I'm still using the keyboard.

Also, what is the best gamepad to get now? I haven't looked at these for quite a while.

I use the original THPS2 Controls, because I am so used to them since I played both 2 and 3 with those controls. Here they are

For forward, back, up and down I use the arrow keys.
Grab= B
Flip= C
Grind= V
Ollie= Space
Nollie/Revert= X
Switch/Revert= N
Spine Transfer= G (I still havent found a comfortable key for this trick)
Pause= Escape
Camera Up Down Left Right is for you to decide, since I dont normally use those, I havent assigned them to anything.

I hope this works for you :)

As for the gamepad, I myself have a GamePadPro, but I never use it. If you were to buy a gamepad, I suggest getting a Playstation 2 Controller, because they work best. In order to use that you will need A playstation 2 to USB adapter. You can find them online or you can get those at Radio Shack.

You poor, poor souls trying to play THPS on a PC.

God Himself designed that game to be played with a PS2 controller.
