Chaintech GeforceFX 5900XT

Hi! I just purchased this card (Chaintech GeforceFX 5900XT 128MB), and i want to know that how much i can overclock it and can i make it a 5900U cause i have heard people flash there BIOS and made it 5900U. help needed

Maybe able to squeeze additional 50mhz out of it but I have had very little success with stable OC settings on the 5800 and 5900 cards for they burn VERY hot even at stock settings.

5900XT, that thing defaults at 390/700 right? If so, then the GPU can pretty much gurantee 450mhz without additional cooling, a good air flow would help. The ram, it's 2.86ns Samsung, so at 700mhz by default, rated 708mhz, so you'll get there no problem, but the samsung memory has been known to overclock well, some people pushed them to 800mhz, i wouldn't aim that high, try to go for 750mhz, may get there, may now. But hey, gaining is gaining. I got my XFX5900 clocked at 531mhz/1020mhz, it's running at around 70-80c during 3d applications.
