I was hopeing you all could help me out. I was going to upgrade my computer and my current motherboard supports any p4 with a 533 fsb and my question is how overclockable is a Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHz
Socket 478 - Bus 533 MHZ - 512 KB L2 Cache ?

Not very overclockable. THG had a reviewer-model at 3.33GHz awhile back, I'd expect maybe 3.3GHz out of it. It's the hottest desktop CPU Intel currently offers, BTW.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

I have the exact same processor and I have oc'd to 3.22 with no problems what so ever. Per my bios the multiplier is 23, so I went up 140 with the fsb. My m.b. is an Asus P4PE, which do you have?
