Ashes cricket 2009 for windows 8

I've purchased a new laptop supporting windows 8 and I downloaded ashes 2009 but it isn't working, whereas I downloaded it on the other laptop supporting windows 7,there isn't no problem with the game. Is there any problem with the system???

run it in compatibility for window 7.. i have also windows 8 and it works fine in my laptop.

I m using windows 8.1 pro but in compatibility mode also game not working what to do ... on windows 8 it works ... then why not on 8.1

run it in compatibility for window 7.. i have also windows 8 and it works fine in my laptop.

What are compatibility for window 7 to run Ashes 2009???
