Alright, I think I see what you are trying to do. You have a web server
running on a computer, and you want external clients to be able to
connect to it. For the record, "publishing web" is a term often used
when copying files to a web server.
Make sure that the default gateway settings on the W2K server are
pointing the correct IP address so that the packets from the W2K server
can find their way back to the internet.
Also make sure that there's nothing else running on the W2K server that
could possibly interfere with this traffic, such as IPSec rules or
software firewalls installed on the server.
