ok so its not in bios, compaq pcs dont have the option of doing things like changing CV and all that. i know i can do it manually thru the mobo with jumpers, but how and where?
Hm. I couldn't find any info on that board. Sorry. Anyway, Im not sure, but I think its unusual to have jumpers for the core voltage. The last time I saw that was on ancient 486 mobos. Also, if scombaq didn't include the feature in the BIOS, why would they bother put a jumper on the mobo?
Have you tried inspecting the mobo. Is there any text close to the jumpers?
