i was going to upgrade my processor(amd 2400) but now ive decided not to so im buying some new ram 2x256 DDR3200 or 2x512 DDR3200 depending on my pocket just wanted to know how far my processor would go, its on a asrock K7VT2 board
and what cooler(HSF) to buy

Not familiar with that mobo but I have had to good OCs with that chip. Really depends the system clock limits of that mobo.
