HI

i like the almost silent running of the spire falconrock II i currently have on my 2100+ o/c to 166x12.
i plan to o/c the chip further in due course but would need a better hsf [current = 42-44 idle ; 48C load] to get to 200MHz...

what are the alternatives? ideally i want something that is quiet as well [case runs an enermax silent psu and 3xpanaflos]

Just swap out the fan.

The FR2 is a very efficient heatsink but is only using a 28 CFM fan. Try an average case fan, about 40 CFM. Or get something more powerful and use speed control.
