1. I recently aquired this computer from my place of
work when we had a complete hardware upgrade. The Network Administrator
did a low level format of all old computers. I have re-installed Windows
98, however the Sound Drivers dont appear to be correct. According to
the user manual the Motherboard has Integtarted Audio using a 'Crystal
CS4201 A 97 onboard Codec. I cant locate the right Driver for this
hardware. Thus I have no sound when I connect my speakers at the audio
out socket and also cant hear system sounds etc. I have tried using
Crystal Semiconductor Corporation Crystal PnP Audio System CODEC but
this doesnt work
2. Similarly I am using a VX720 Gateway Monitor which I
cant set to more that 16 olours with the Graphics/Video/Monitor settings
and Driver. This machine has Integrated Video controller using main
memory for video memory. I should be able to set monitor colours to at
least 256 or preferably 16 or 32 bit resolution? I have tried the
following driver: DISPLAY: Super VGA ( 5-11-1998) however it will not
let me set the higher resolution
3. Can you help me locate the right on-board Sound and Video Drivers for my system
System Details: == SYSTEM IDENTIFICATION == Serial: 0001910374 Model:

Before you can install drivers for sound and other PCI/AGP devices, you must
install the Intel chipset drivers.
