Moving Total War folder out of appdata folder, possible?

Hello,

I have installed different games via Steam. One if Company of Heroes. Another one is Empire Total War.

However, ETW has created a folder in my appdata folder under C:\Users\Usersfolder\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly.

From my experience with my old PC, I know that this folder can grow to 20gb.

My SSD, which is my C drive (boot drive), is only 250gb. I have it specifically for Windows and apps.
My HDD, which is 2tb, has Steam installed on it.

Now, CoH has not placed any files or folders anywhere else except for my HDD.

- Why has ETW placed a folder on my C drive?
- Also, can I move this folder to my HDD without causing any glitches or issues?
- Will this happen with many games installed via Steam?
