If you're looking to bump the cost down, go for an AMD build with an FX-8350 chip. The motherboard and CPU will both bump the price down at least $100.

i7 is fantastic and all, but you can use the money you save on CPU towards a better GPU.

It's kind of an unbalanced build. You don't need an i7 for gaming. Get an i5 3570K, and drop the RAM to 8GB unless you plan on doing heavy video editing. You will also want a better video card. With the extra money from the i7 to i5 switch you could get a 660 Ti or 7870 instead of the 7850.

EDIT: Lol, I just realized I probably sound fairly hypocritical considering I have both of the things I recommended against, but they are pointless. The money would be better spent on a more powerful video card.
