As I'm OC'ing the rig below, I am trying to monitor temps as is often suggested. In researching posts/guides regarding this subject there is apparantly a difference between socket temps and diode temps. Diode temps seems the more important.

My questions:

1) is diode temp from the core of the cpu?

2) is socket temp from the little "probe looking-thing" under the cpu that one can see before installing the cpu?

3) Is it true the NF7-S does not report diode temps?

4) If #3 is true, how to rectify this oversight on Abit's part?

As always, Thanks for sharing your knowledge/insights
