Hi All,

I have just purchased a boxed Intel 3.2 800FSB CPU. Do i need to apply thermal paste when i am installing it ??

There is already a thermal pad on the chip...do i remove that and add an after market HSF, do i leave it and use the stock HSF...or do i remove it add paste and then use the stock HSF ??

Thanks for your help!!

Running at stock speed, doesn't require anything extra, the stock pad is actually not bad, it'll be good enough.

58-61C, where did you get those readings? That's generally a little high, even under load.
