I have just purchased a boxed Intel 3.2 800FSB CPU. Do i need to apply thermal paste when i am installing it ??
There is already a thermal pad on the chip...do i remove that and add an after market HSF, do i leave it and use the stock HSF...or do i remove it add paste and then use the stock HSF ??
yup..im running at stock speed...with the side of the case off...zipping up around 5 gig worth of data and im getting temperatures of 58-61 degrees celcius!! is this normal ??
Im a bit worried!!
Any advice welcome
Cheers
Paul
