I just got done watching a video from WoodysGamertag on youtube....

He explains how the ps4 is going to have 8gb of ram, and a equivalent to the 7970 gpu...... ohh, and a 8 core bulldozer cpu.

Can someone confirm this? Is there any articles? This cannot be right? they can't price that for less than $400???

More about : ps4 specs

If you want to know the PS4 specs I suggest the following...

1) Google PS4 specs, and read whatever you want.
2) Take all info with a large grain of salt
3) Go into a coma for about 6 months, or freeze yourself like Cartman

4) Wake up to real PS4 specs

From what I have seem th ePS4 & next Xbox will both have 8 core AMD jaguar chips (AMDs answer to atom) not bulldozer or even close and the graphics will be at most half as powerful as a 7970. Its the developer kits that have bulldozer cores as the jaguar ones don't exist yet.

Not sure if its true. But hope it is as should al pc gamers, as surly more powerful consoles is good thing for pc gaming.

It wouldn't be good for alot of things. It would be bad for Console/PC wars. PC gaming would die if a PS4 with the specs of a $1000 gaming PC could be had for $300.

From my understanding, those are the specs of the dev kits. The dev kits will have more powerful hardware when compared to the production models.
It would be interesting if someone was to pull up the specs of the dev kits for the xbox 360 or ps3 and see how those compared to the actual consumer console.

Xbox 360 developer kit spec http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/xbox-2-sdk-released-g5...
"The big news to us is that the XBOX 2 SDK has been seeded to developers on
dual Apple Power Mac G5 systems running a custom Windows NT Kernel.

The Apple Power Mac G5 is based upon two of IBM's 64-bit Power PC processors
and features ATi RADEON 9800 Pro (R350) graphics. However the R350 is
believed to be an interim solution and will, in due course, be superseded by
the forthcoming ATI R420."

This wouldn't be possible, and I hope it won't too.

It would cause a catastrophe in market balance
