hi, had a question to any cable experts. If broadband internet were to be turned on would analog signals still pass through. I currenty have a broadband connection but forgot to sign up for basic cable. I thought, with broadband, the unscrambled analog sutff would come in. Does a filter exist to block analog but not broadband internet?

there is a filter they put on the modem line that blocks the tv signals from reaching the modem. if u would want tv on your computer they would have to run a seperate line just for the tv signals. My friend works for Comcast and I have asked him the same question before
