Hey overclockers i need some advice :)

I'm worried about overclocking even though I would like try it out. I have a 1800+ Palomino that I would like to overclock i have ddr333. If I do overclock i know that sometime sooner or later the cpu is gonna bust but what about the Ram or the Motherboard coz remember you need to higher the FSB so wouldn't these have a shorter life as well. What about graphics cards, hard drives etc.... remember this is only if i overclock the CPU not the ram or other things.

What speed do you think i will be able to get with stock cooling?

Try a 200 Mhz OC. See how that works.

Research... get most of the basic questions answered first... I do not think many people have gotten that cpu above 150fsb or so... the T-Breds are different...

You'll get somewhere between 147-152 FSB with stability. Maybe a little less depending on memory timings, mobo, etc. but not any more unless you're lucky. The main things to consider are that speed itself won't kill your comp. Byproducts like heat and the need to increase voltage (hence increase heat de facto) are what you need to watch out for. My guess is that with your setup, you could simply go into bios and increase your fsb to 145-6 have a 10% clock speed increase and call it a day. Also, I don't mean to be flip with your money, but even if you did destroy your CPU, it is getting a little old and there are substantial upgrades around at reasonable prices.

Yes, you'll be stressing your northbridge a little more, you will not be able to get to 166 FSB (spec for PC2700 or DDR333) and your CPU will be fine so long as the temp stays around 55C or less-if it's above 55 and you are worried about frying it, back off. The Palominos were not known as good overclockers, so a mild OC is about the best you can do. Best of luck!
