Hello guys. I've let everyone else know so I may aswell share my little overclock with you guys.

Heres the details:

Athlon 64 3200 @ 10x230mhz fsb = 2299mhz 1.6V
MSI K8T Neo @ 230mhz fsb
2x512MB 3200 ram @ 190mhz C2-3-2-6
9700pro @ 382/344

And heres the pics...

<A HREF="http://www.ec.eclipse.co.uk/230mhzht.JPG" target="_new">http://www.ec.eclipse.co.uk/230mhzht.JPG</A>

<A HREF="http://www.ec.eclipse.co.uk/san2300mhz.JPG" target="_new">http://www.ec.eclipse.co.uk/san2300mhz.JPG</A>

All air cooled with the stock cooler 45C load....Agp bus is @ 75mhz + prime stable for 3 hours...

Fails 3dmark @ 2299mhz because of too high agp speed but its 100% stable @ 228.2mhz FSB or 2282mhz cpu speed.

Not much point now. If i did i would have to buy new memory to run 1:1 at 228fsb which will cost way too much......

Well my cpu needs 1.6V @ 227fsb so to reach say 240fsb on a better mobo would need 1.7V minimum. The 2x512mb pc4000 ram is too expensive though even if i did get a new mobo i cant afford the ram to go to 240fsb 1:1.

What was the problem? What did you change to allow the gpu to be able to run that speed, i remember you were having some problems previously...

I lowered the mem/fsb ratio and its let me get an extra 13mhz fsb..... Also faster in 3dmark too by a good 200 points or so than @ 215:215 (im at 190:228 at the moment).

No because the 9700pro is now running on 75mhz agp bus which is a lot higher than @ 215fsb. I have no idea what was causing me to fail prime @ 216fsb when its running flawlessly @ 228 now.

And I can confirm that the agp bus is not locked now because at 230mhz its prime stable but crashes if I run 3dmark which indicates agp instability of some sort.

ya i had the same problem with my 440bx overclocking experience using a 9500np, my agp bus limit was around 72-73mhz.

I upped the agp voltage and now its prime + 3dmark stable @ 2309mhz.
