Looking in for a pump that does about 300gph and about 7ft head and must fit 1/2" fittings. Know of any names? Thanks..

Hydor L30 is slightly cheaper and smaller than the Eheim one, and it shifts the same ammount of water. Although the build quality on the 1250 looks better.

Looks like the mag 5 pump is a good contender. The Eheim 1250 looks good and quiet but I dunnot know the max head on that one. Would anyone know?

Don't get the Mag5. Get the Mag3. The head hight on the Mag5 is not as good as the 3. (and the 3 is cheaper)

Mag3 is a good pump.
