This is the monitor I have been using for the last four years. Its a 17"er and it'll be kept for running with my new system.

What I want to know is...does the technology of old monitors limit the possibilities of performance with new graphics cards, in particular 64MB Radeon DDR retail?

Its always seemed pretty good, but I have no comparison. I'll be running at either 1024 x 768 x 16 (85Hz) or 32 (60Hz), and the manual says it'll run up to 1280 x 1024 (60Hz).

Will my monitor spoil the possible quality of the graphical display?
