Who has ever guranteed your overclock? Could you post your CPU's steppings, it's written on the CPU heatspreader, should be SL something. 3.6 may very well be the max overclock on your chip at that voltage, if you really want more, push it to 1.775, i've heard that Abit boards likes to under-volt. Also have you updated the bios for your IC7 Max-3 I purchased one a couple months ago, and it had that 250FSB issue. You'll need too boost Vdimm also.

Stepping 9 Rev D1, and i got my info about max clock on asetek´s own forum, from clockers that use vapochill too.

The SL info u ask for can it only be found on metalspreader on CPU?? cause i dont want to tear my system apart.

at 1.7V you should be able to reach about 3.7Ghz, which you're fairly close to. You'll need to bump that Vcore up to 1.75 to get any more out of it. Overclockers.com reported 3900mhz, however some lucky guy with prometeia got to 4322mhz.

LOL, if you got lots of cash to waste on a P4, then wait 'til June for Prescott D0 which will hit 4Ghz on air.
