Anyone have an idea how to overclock the newer Barton core AMD chips whcich appear to have the multiplier locked?

Think Upgradeware's adapter might work.

(thank's for nothing AMD. After promising you would'nt follow Intel!)

You could do the bridge mod, overclockers.com, and there's a detailed video guide on tomshardware video section. You should try hitting 200FSB first, that's gonna get you the biggest performance increase.

I comprehend this thread not. Isn't there an AMD Overclocking sticky to refer thus guy too, and I am not talking about those sticky keyboards from the video card threads...

Listen to Wusy... increase your Vcore and FSB...
