I want to surprise my boyfriend with a mic for his birthday. I'm a girl so I know nothing about this stuff! He just wants something to talk to people while gaming and he doesn't want something that will pick up background noise. I heard him talking about the Yeti and the Snowball. What's the difference between the two? Is there something better? My budget is around $100ish. Thank you!!

The Yeti is vastly superior in most every way, but the snowball is a great choice if you don't want to dish out 100$
